Application for CQC registration - how long do I wait? | QCS

After submitting an application for registration, how long does it take for the CQC to respond?

Dear Carol,

On their website CQC say:

“If you are well prepared, your project is ready and there are no delays then for new providers and managers it should take ten weeks from the date we validate your application to when we serve a notice of decision (NoD) which sets out our decision about your registration.”

You can read more about the registration process here.

The most important thing for all people applying for registration is that you have supplied all the information asked for by CQC. Any omissions will lead to a delay.

Best wishes,
Sheila
