As a care worker, what would you do if you visit a service user and there is no care plan?

Hi Sheila, as a care worker, what would you do if you visit a service user and there is no care plan?

Dear E,

Thank you for your question.

I presume that you are working for an agency of some sort and not working directly for the service user.

As an employee of an agency you should take this directly to the Manager of the service.

You should not be working somewhere if you do not have all the information you need to provide care safely.

Best wishes

Sheila
