Bed maintenance contracts - follow up | QCS

Hi Sheila,

We are taking out a bed maintenance service contract having asked you before if we needed one and you advised that we do.

Whilst most of our beds are electric that move this way and that, for the few plain divan beds and manual beds, do these require a certificate of maintenance as well? Or is it necessary for beds that move?

Thanks a lot Sheila. (FYI I really appreciate this service so thank you for it.)

Dear Jay,

For your beds that are powered by electricity then as I advised before you need a maintenance service contract.

For your other beds I would suggest that you need to have a record of when you monitored that the beds are still in good condition and that both the mattress and the bed remain fit for purpose.

Best wishes,

Sheila
