How do I market Domiciliary Care? | QCS

I am just in the process of registering with CQC for the first time . Once the registration is successful , how do I start marketing for Domicillary care?

Dear Usebia,

Thank you for your question.

I am not an expert in marketing but this is what I would do:

  • I would have a website.
  • I would have a brochure.
  • I would familiarise myself with the Local Council’s commissioning documents. You need to understand how the Council commissions and find out whether or not there is a process that you have to go through before they will consider you as a provider for the Council. I cannot give you any more information than that because almost every Council has a different process.
  • Try to find out who you should speak to at the Council.
  • You can consider how you should gain publicity to attract private clients. For instance, GP’s surgeries, Local newspapers, Advert in a local paper or similar.

These are a few ideas to get you started.

Good luck.
