My patient has just handed my an information leaflet given to her by a chiropractor which contains unfounded and alarmist information. What should I do? – Owen

Dear Owen,

This is such an interesting question and I had to do some research to find the answer.

I understand that the profession of chiropractor has statutory regulation and all chiropractors must be registered under the terms of the Chiropractors Act 1994 with the statutory regulator, the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

I have looked at their website and there is a section headed “How to Complain about a Chiropractor” and you can locate the appropriate section on their website http://www.gcc-uk.org/concerns/making-a-complaint/

Best wishes.

Sheila
