Dear Amanda,

Not surprisingly, the first place to go is the CQC website.

You will get the basic information here http://www.cqc.org.uk/content/fundamental-standards and more detailed information here http://www.cqc.org.uk/content/regulations-service-providers-and-managers

Quality Compliance Systems, has also written a number of very helpful guides regarding the new inspection regime which can be found here: http://www.ukqcs.co.uk/uncategorized/new-care-standards/  These guides are meant to breakdown and hopefully simplify this significant change to the way care services are inspected.

It is really important.

If you have any further questions about how QCS can help you prepare for the new inspection regime, please give them a call on 0333 405 33 33.

Best wishes.

Sheila
