Hello,

There are laws about the National Living Wage but there are no laws about the pay of a Registered Manager apart from that.

There are pay scales for people undertaking the role in a local authority but not for people working in the private or not for profit sector.

Pay rates vary on a great many levels. For instance:

  • Experience;
  • Size of the service;
  • Qualifications;
  • Local pay rates.

Apart from that it is a matter for you to negotiate your pay with your employer.

Best wishes.

Sheila
