I manage a supported living house. I have just taken on a staff member on a 13 hour a week contract. I am being pressurised by my L&D to get him to complete the care certificate ASAP…in view of his hours how long does he have to complete this?

The expected time frame in which the Care Certificate will be completed is 12 weeks but like all training in Adult Social Care some candidates will complete the training more quickly than others and this may be for a variety of reasons.
