Kitchen Cleaning Schedule

On average, 180 deaths per year occur in the United Kingdom by foodborne diseases. Most of these deaths occur in those over 75. This highlights how important it is that food safety is in a care setting.

This Kitchen Cleaning Schedule forms one part of a series of practical tools held within the Food Safety Manual, it’s vital to have a cleaning schedule in place that evidence how the premises is cleaned and to provide an opportunity for it to be a working document that staff can sign. In particular, during COVID–19 and pandemic management, this schedule has the capacity to support additional deep cleaning requirements.

QCS have created this complaints audit to help registered managers and quality assurance managers to conduct a thorough examination into complaints and auditing service complaints from a user-led perspective. To support the audit processes, we have provided sources of evidence to look for and to support any action planning that may be required.
