This policy has had a name change to the ‘Right to Work Checks Policy and Procedure’ (previously known as Employment of Non-UK Citizens Policy and Procedure). The reason for this is to promote that Right to Work checks should be carried out on every prospective employee, not just non-UK citizens. The Policy has been updated to include reference to the fact that the new Online Right to Work Checking Service now gives employers a statutory defence to any illegal working should they have followed it fully and completely.
This policy has been converted into the new QCS policy format. This is an easy to follow method of decontaminating laboratory based work to ensure safe and infection free handling of dental work.
