This policy has been updated to the new QCS format with the addition of a Statement of Intent template which can be located in the forms section of the policy.

Policy converted to the new QCS format. The policy sets out to establish the communication standards required when dealing with emergencies. This includes staff escalation processes as well as communicating with patients, colleagues, other interested relevant individuals and the media. This policy should be read in conjunction with the Business Continuity Policy and Procedure.
New policy to ensure that the service understands the risks to Service Users and staff during hot weather and is able to take steps to reduce those risks. References and resources included to assist with planning and managing services during hot weather.
