Blood Pressure Monitoring Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff who are required to support with blood pressure monitoring. It has been reviewed with no significant changes and references checked and updated.
Advance Care Planning Policy and Procedure
The policy details what Advance Care Planning is and how individuals can be supported in this area. It has been reviewed and amended in line with best practice guidance. Additions have been made to both content and knowledge links which will give increased guidance and support in the difficult subject area.
Handover Communication Policy and Procedure
This policy will support the handover communication processes that may be available at a service. It looks at the different forms that communication can take as well as the processes to train staff and audit the process overall. It has been reviewed with no content changes, a further reading link has been removed that is no longer applicable. Other references checked to ensure they remain current.
Epilepsy Policy and Procedure
This policy details how to support a service user who presents with epilepsy. The policy has been reviewed with new policy statements added (4.1 and 4.2), the procedural section has also been streamlined and updated to ensure it remains current. A new form has also been added: Epilepsy Management, Seizure Response and Administration of Medication Protocol. Links also updated and streamlined.
Data Protection and Confidentiality Policy and Procedure
This policy details the rights of service users in relation to confidentiality, data protection and the issues that staff need to be aware of. The policy has been updated to reflect changes to the Caldicott Principles, following the introduction of an 8th principle. References updated to ensure they remain current.
Stoma Care Policy and Procedure
This policy details the requirements to support service users with stoma care management. It highlights the varying types of stomas and how these should be managed, whilst acknowledging the importance of staff training and competency in stoma care. Staff should familiarise themselves with this policy before supporting in stoma care. It has been reviewed with minor content changes and a new procedural section on information sharing added (5.15). References also checked to ensure they remain current.

The policy has been reviewed with minimal change, references and links checked and remain current.
Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Procedure
Stakeholders often want to be assured of the businesses commitment to the wider world. This in turn has a positive impact on the business and the way the community and public view it. This policy has been reviewed with a minor content changes and a new CSR Annual Report Template added in the forms section to support creation of an annual report. References also checked to ensure they remain current.
