It looks at the different forms that communication can take as well as the processes to train staff and audit the process overall. Epilepsy Policy and Procedure

This policy details how to support a service user who presents with epilepsy. It highlights the varying types of stomas and how these should be managed, whilst acknowledging the importance of staff training and competency in stoma care. Staff should familiarise themselves with this policy before supporting in stoma care. It has been reviewed with minor content changes and a new procedural section on information sharing added (5.15). References also checked to ensure they remain current.
