Policy has been converted into new policy format. Policy references relevant legislation and guidance. Policy also makes it clear what is considered smoking and the sanctions for breaching the policy.
Converted to new policy format. Clarification added to the procedure to make it clear that this policy applies to all protected characteristics, not just race and sex. The protected characteristics have been fully outlined. The amendments also provide a clear structure to follow should a complaint of bullying or harassment be raised.
This policy has been updated to include a sliding scale of recovery for training costs and removed the reward for exceptional attendance. For employees to readily identify the form with the relevant section, a new appendix (1) has been included. Also, an updated table on Training and Professional Development Requirements has been added.
This policy has been extensively updated. Updates include: employer obligations in relation to pension auto-enrolment, additional reference to when matters are contractual and could result in disciplinary action, general conduct on social media, and more. It is recommended that staff be notified and provided with a new copy of this employee handbook within 28 days.
