Harassment Policy and Procedure
Converted to new policy format. Clarification added to the procedure to make it clear that this policy applies to all protected characteristics, not just race and sex. The protected characteristics have been fully outlined. The amendments also provide a clear structure to follow should a complaint of bullying or harassment be raised.
Grievances Policy and Procedure
Changes to ensure clear, distinct three-stage process to ensure compliance with the ACAS Code of Practice.
Whistleblowing Policy and Procedure
Updated policy into new format. Additional section regarding investigation, updated legislation with Criminal Courts Act 2015 and additional references.
DBS/Disclosure Policy and Procedure
Complete redraft and update to take into account the changes to the DBS scheme. New definition of Regulated Activity, inclusion of the update service and full policy for rehabilitation of offenders.
Anti-Bullying Policy and Procedure
Conversion to new policy format. Outlining clearer procedure including formal and informal process for raising issues. Reference to discipline policy where relevant.
Discipline Policy and Procedure
Changes made to set out clearly the times when this policy should be used, the structure of a disciplinary process and the importance of following the ACAS Code of Practice.
Sickness Absence Policy and Procedure
Review of policy and conversion to new format, minor amends included and clearer reference to other policies.
Annual Holiday Policy and Procedure
Changes to ensure policy is more user friendly as well as conversion into the new policy format.
On-Call Policy and Procedure
This is a new policy to support the delivery of a consistent, high quality service during periods when management cover isn’t directly available. It provides a monthly on-call form to identify a person to perform the on-call function for the service.
Training Policy and Procedure
Updated to reflect changes in training requirements.
The policy is in the new format and includes key facts and evidence to support outstanding practice. The Care Certificate requirement has been included in the policy, and the commitment of the service to the delivery of training has been made explicit.
