Employee Handbook

It is recommended that staff be notified and provided with a new copy of this employee handbook within 28 days.

Pre-Admission and Admission Policy and Procedure

Care Planning Admission Risk Assessment Region: | Reference: CA13

This policy has been amended to reflect the requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, which regards decisions to be made as specific, so that capacity should be tested for each decision to be made, including whether to move to a care home in the first instance. The policy has also been changed to reflect the introduction of pension credits and the nature of financial assessments conducted by the local authority with relation to new regulations under the Care Act 2014.
