Complete redraft and update to take into account the changes to the DBS scheme. New definition of Regulated Activity, inclusion of the update service and full policy for rehabilitation of offenders.
Discipline Policy and Procedure
Changes made to set out clearly the times when this policy should be used, the structure of a disciplinary process and the importance of following the ACAS Code of Practice.
Safeguarding Policy and Procedure
Addition of emphasis on well-being and edit of content including addition of preventative steps, update of protected Characteristics and deletion of ISA reference. Update with Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 information. This policy has been converted to the new QCS format.
CQC Fundamental Standards Policy and Procedure
Review and development of policy to reflect current Fundamental Standards, and conversion of the policy to the new format to assist with understanding and the use of the QCS management system.
Training Policy and Procedure
Updated to reflect changes in training requirements.
The policy is in the new format and includes key facts and evidence to support outstanding practice. The Care Certificate requirement has been included in the policy, and the commitment of the service to the delivery of training has been made explicit.

Recruitment Pack – Job Start and Induction Policy and Procedure
This Recruitment Pack has been updated to incorporate the Induction Policy and Procedure so that your main induction documents are all in one place, the document name has been amended to reflect this. Additional changes were made to bring this document in line with requirements around auto-enrolment for pensions.
This update will replace your previous versions of the PR15 as well as the PR07 Induction Policy and Procedure.
Employee Handbook
This policy has been extensively updated. Updates include: employer obligations in relation to pension auto-enrolment, additional reference to when matters are contractual and could result in disciplinary action, general conduct on social media, and more. It is recommended that staff be notified and provided with a new copy of this employee handbook within 28 days.
Job Description – Nominated Individual
This document has been updated to amend ‘Nominated Person’ to ‘Nominated Individual’, in line with CQC terminology. Also, this document has been updated for minor amendments to wording and grammar.
