Water Temperature Policy and Procedure
This policy will support in ensuring that water temperatures remain within recommended requirements to avoid Service Users being affected by burns and scalding. All staff need to be aware of the severity of burns and scalding as such an incident would be an Adult Support and Protection issue. The policy has been reviewed and updated to include information about radiator temperatures in the procedural section.
Fire Alarm Response Policy and Procedure
This policy sets out the fire alarm plan for a service. It has been reviewed with no significant changes and references checked and updated.
Service Equipment Maintenance Policy and Procedure
This policy will guide staff on the safe maintenance of equipment used within the service. It has been reviewed with a procedural point and new references added.

Electrical Safety Policy and Procedure
This policy details how to ensure that electrical safety is maintained by the service. It has been reviewed and additional references and updates added to the content that staff should familiarise themselves with.
Catering Management Policy and Procedure
This policy will guide staff on the overall catering responsibilities and requirements. It has been reviewed with minimal change. Reference and links have been checked and remain current.
Lifts and Hoists Policy and Procedure
This policy will inform staff on the process to follow for lifts and hoist equipment and what checks are required to ensure they are safe. Policy reviewed with minimal changes, references and links checked and remain current.
Room Call Policy and Procedure
This policy will add some clarity around responsibilities and alternative considerations to the call bell system. It has been reviewed with minimal change, references and links checked and remain current.
Catering Policy and Procedure
This policy will give the reader the overarching information they will require about catering and signpost them to further, more specific information on various aspects of catering procedures.
Legionella Policy and Procedure
This policy will inform staff on Legionella. Whilst it is not known to transfer from person to person, nonetheless can have an impact on business operations in that resources are diverted to the risk at hand. Staff who get legionella impact the business due to their unavailability. From a customer/resident relationship is the blame culture in which the client has a duty of care.
