Security Policy and Procedure

Health and Safety Residential Services Region: | Reference: SMB05

This policy will support a service to maintain the safety and security of all its service users, staff and visitors. It has been reviewed and updated with a statement regarding the impact of COVID-19 on security added, given the impact this has on care homes at present. References also updated to ensure they remain current and a further reading resource added.

Duty of Candour Policy and Procedure

The regulation became law in Scotland on 01/04/2018 and all staff need to know the process of identifying and reporting any incidents which may be reportable under the Act. This policy was reviewed with a new duty of candour checklist added, references and links checked and remain current.
