Recording the Administration of Medication Policy and Procedure

Medications Management Medications Management Region: | Reference: SCM35

This policy details how medication must be administered and the steps that must be taken to ensure medication management is safe. The policy has been updated to reference the need to use a MAR if a Service User requires verbal or physical assistance when they have been assessed as having the capacity to self-manage. The MAR has been updated to add two additional recording codes to reflect the need to record the support required.
