Smoking Policy and Procedure

Care Management Risk Assessment and Personal Planning Region: | Reference: WCP34

This policy outlines how staff can support individuals who smoke. It has been updated to include a clearer reference to vaping and also to include more detail about process when staff are holding smoking materials on behalf of the individual. References checked and updated.

Notice Periods Policy and Procedure

Human Resources Contract of Employment Region: | Reference: WPC10

Turnover of staff is expected and the business should ensure that it has in place a clear way of dealing with the circumstances when notice is received or given. The policy has been reviewed and procedure section at 5.5 updated to include payment in lieu and garden leave. Headings also added to a number of procedural sections and minor content changes. The references and further reading have been checked and updated.
