Display Screen Equipment Policy and Procedure
This policy outlines how to support staff when using Display Screen Equipment to ensure they remain safe. It has been reviewed with no significant changes and references checked and updated.
Flooding Policy and Procedure
This policy will support a service to be prepared in the event of flooding. It has been reviewed with minor content changes and references checked and updated.
Health and Safety Training Policy and Procedure
Policy reviewed with no significant changes and references checked and updated.
Driving for Work Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff with driving vehicles for the service and covers driving with individuals. It has been reviewed with an additional procedure point added around driving with individuals during the pandemic.

Risk Assessment Policy and Procedure
This policy details the risk assessment process to ensure that any risks that may occur within a service are reduced or controlled. It has been updated to reflect the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic with new sections added. References have also been added and existing ones checked to ensure they remain current.
Accident and Incident Reporting Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed and updated to reflect the new requirements relating to reporting certain incidents relating to COVID-19 as a RIDDOR.
Body Temperature Policy and Procedure
This is a new policy which will support staff with taking an Individual’s body temperature. It gives guidance on what is a normal and abnormal temperature and highlights the procedure to follow if a fever is suspected. A form is available for staff to record results of the procedure. Although the checking of body temperatures is considered to be a delegated nursing activity, the checking of temperatures may be required by care staff during the COVID-19 outbreak.
