First Aid Policy and Procedure

Policy rewritten in new format, with more detail included on first aid qualifications and the responsibilities of the Service. This policy was previously published as WPM01.The re-classification to WPM20 is to ensure that there is clarity for users that the First Aid Policy applies in both Service Users’ homes and for the registered location of the service

Harassment Policy and Procedure

Converted to new policy format. Clarification added to the procedure to make it clear that this policy applies to all protected characteristics, not just race and sex. The protected characteristics have been fully outlined. The amendments also provide a clear structure to follow should a complaint of bullying or harassment be raised.

Lone Working Policy and Procedure

Introduction of new policy format.
The policy name has been changed from Working Alone Policy and Procedure to Lone Working Policy and Procedure.
The policy has more clearly recognised the importance of risk assessments prior to the delivery of a service by a lone worker, and has defined the procedure to ensure that appropriate resources are available to promote the health, safety and welfare of lone workers.
