Communication Policy and Procedure
This policy will support with methods of communication in a service. It has been reviewed and the information about COVID-19 remains in place. Policy wording has been slightly changed, but no major additions to the content of the policy. References reviewed and updated.
Self Employment and Zero Hours Contracts Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff to understand the roles and responsibilities for which they are employed and includes templates for the service to utilise. It has been reviewed and updated with coronavirus legislation added and the date on the contract document updated to 2022. The references have also been checked and updated, with a new underpinning knowledge link added.
Hazard Reporting Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff in the process for identifying hazards and what action they may need to take. It has been reviewed with minimal changes, and references have been checked and updated.
Clinical Governance Policy and Procedure
This policy details the clinical governance processes to follow to ensure a well-led service. It has been reviewed with minor changes to the wording. References have also been checked and updated.
Record Keeping Policy and Procedure
This policy will support with the record keeping process at a service and has been reviewed. Minor changes to wording have been made and information about the impact of COVID-19 remains in place. References have been updated and checked to ensure that they support the policy.
Adults with Autism Policy and Procedure
The policy details the importance of recognising Autism and the implications for service delivery and workforce. The policy has been reviewed with minimal changes. References have been checked and updated.
Access to NHS Services Policy and Procedure
This policy defines the process for individuals to access NHS services in Wales and the support that will be provided by the provider. The main content of the policy has been reviewed and still includes detail to reflect COVID-19 and the implications for the service with regard to timely access. References and further reading have been updated.
Reducing Physical Intervention Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff with understanding and using restraint in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. It has been reviewed and the title changed from Restraint Policy and Procedure to Reducing Physical Intervention Policy and Procedure. It has been significantly updated with some important key points related to learning, governance and decision making. Additional forms added and information in relation to key document ‘Reducing Restrictive Practices’ framework produced by the Welsh Government. Updated Line of Enquiry and legislation added, key information in relation to personal planning, learning and development, sustaining injuries, physical health monitoring after physical intervention, corporate governance, key facts and key referencing. New forms added for post-physical intervention events and staff de-brief.
Supporting Independence in Personal Care Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff to ensure that individuals remain as independent as possible in relation to their personal hygiene. It has been reviewed with minor content changes and references checked and updated.

Annual review of survey with reference to Welsh and other language options added at the start of the form. No further changes.
