Re-Opening to Visitors During COVID-19 Policy and Procedure

COVID-19 Hub Care Management COVID-19 Region: | Reference: WCC126

This policy will support a service in re-opening to visitors during COVID-19 and describes the processes that must be followed. It has been reviewed following an update of ‘Visits to care homes: guidance for providers’. Policy updated to ensure it reflects this guidance with additional information added sections 5.8, 5.9 and 5.13. The visitors questionnaire form has also been updated and a new row added to capture temperature checks. References checked to ensure they remain current.

Visiting Out of Care Homes Policy and Procedure

COVID-19 Hub Health and Safety COVID-19 Region: | Reference: WCC180

This policy will support individuals to have visits outside of the service and describes the processes that must be followed. It has been reviewed following an update to the ‘Visits to care homes: guidance for providers’ information. Updates have been made to procedural sections 5.5 and 5.7 with the removal of self-isolation specific days and PCR confirmatory testing which is no longer in line with the guidance. References have also been checked and updated to ensure they remain current.
