This policy outlines the avenues to follow to protect people from radicalisation and the nature of the PREVENT strategy. It has been reviewed with minor content changes and references have been updated. Reference has also been made to the new Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019, as well as to Home Office e-learning resources that are available.

Medical Emergency Policy and Procedure

The medical emergency policy has been reviewed and converted to the new QCS policy format. The content has grown to include some further procedural standards in relation to taking a proactive approach to minimising the deterioration of an Individual before it becomes a medical emergency, as well as providing some clarity for actions to take when responding to a medical emergency.
