Food Storage Temperatures Policy and Procedure #2
This policy details the importance of ensuring that food storage temperatures are within the required and necessary ranges across the different stages of the food cycle. This policy has been reviewed to ensure that it reflects the most current legislation across all of its contents where referenced. There has also been clarity provided within the Procedures section and associated forms on how to guide staff on the necessary temperatures for safe practice with foods. Finally, we have reinforced across this policy the need to ensure that staff have access to the Catering Guide (as a working document), as this guide dovetails with this policy.
