As we announce her well-deserved retirement, it is only fitting that we celebrate her contributions to the social care workforce, life at QCS, and beyond. Jackie’s pioneering spirit led to the creation of the PAL Instrument, a groundbreaking tool for assessing cognitive and function abilities. This innovation has transformed dementia care practices, providing caregivers with invaluable insights to enhance the quality of life for those under their care.

Beyond her practical contributions, Jackie’s literary works has provided a wealth of knowledge and inspiration in the field of dementia care. Her books and articles have not only informed but have also ignited passion among caregivers worldwide.
