Work with us

What is our purpose?

That’s an easy one to answer:

“Helping everyone who cares to do a great job.”

We want to help Care Providers achieve ‘Outstanding’ ratings. We do this with our digital content on compliance policies, procedures & guidance and inspection tools. Our content is enabling thousands of UK Care Providers to spend more of their valuable time providing care. As a result, they are improving the lives of the people they care for, and that is a fantastic feeling for our team.

Our values

Everything we do revolves around our four core values. QCS is a team that pulls together. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve things. Every member of our team adds value, and our team shares our values and wants to help us transform the world of Care.

About us

Over 5,000 organisations and 120,000 users routinely use our compliance management system. That makes us the UK’s largest provider of compliance policies, procedures & guidance and inspection tools. As a result, we are directly responsible for helping more than 120,000 people receive better care. That’s a phenomenal achievement, but we know we can do more.

Offering great information is only one aspect that keeps our customers coming back. They also know we put their needs first because we’re never too busy to help. All our customers are supported by a dedicated telephone-based team that answers both system and policy queries. It’s just one of the things that make us stand out - ask Trust Pilot.

The QCS People Deal

Our success comes down to our people. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to deliver the service we offer. We’re a great team. Every one of us is focused on helping Care Providers provide outstanding care. By pulling together we make this happen and, by being supportive of each other, we create and share in our success.

The QCS People Deal is an informal contract created by all of us at QCS. It sets out the behaviours we live by as employees and how the company will support us. It helped us achieve the Silver accreditation for Investors in People on our first attempt in 2018. This accomplishment shows we’re on the right track. There’s still more work to do, but with us all working together we make QCS a fantastic place to work.

What does flexible working mean in QCS?

Supporting our local community

The opportunity to “Give Back” to charities of your choice. We want our employees to have a positive impact on the wider community. That’s why we support all our employees to volunteer and give back to a charity or community of their choice for three working days per year.

Supporting the wider community

On top of helping our employees make a difference to their communities, as a company we’re also making an impact.

We are proud to have supported Common Age by awarding bursaries to 15 applicants from developing Commonwealth countries to attend the inaugural Commonwealth Elders’ Forum, held in April 2018.

This forum gave over 200 delegates from 23 Commonwealth countries, the opportunity to come to the UK, and to contribute and learn from our care sector, while sharing ideas, best practice, innovation and leadership.

To support best practice, QCS created a free toolkit that comprised of a collection of policies, procedures and guidance that focused on the provision of basic care for delegates to take away and use in their countries.
