Sickness Absence Policy and Procedure

This policy must be read alongside the suite of policies and procedures in the COVID19 Hub. It has been reviewed to include the updated guidance to self-isolation and circumstances where staff will not have to isolate (e.g. being a identified as a close contact but being fully vaccinated). Updates have been made in procedural sections 5.8, 5.10 and 5.11. Staff are reminded to check the up-to-date government guidance as it is fast changing. References have also been checked to ensure they remain current.
