Kiran Johnson

Kiran Johnson has worked in general practice management for over a decade predominantly working with GP Practices, GP Federation’s, Primary Care Networks, GP practices, LMC’s and CCG’s.

Prior to working with QCS, Kiran comes from a strong public sector background, starting out her career at East Riding of Yorkshire Council.  Kiran has specialist knowledge in corporate policy and strategy, with a key focus on horizon scanning and implementing legal and policy changes in public sector organisations, including development and delivery of training, learning and development for local government and NHS organisations.

Most recently Kiran worked at the Humberside Group of Local Medical Committees, providing medico-legal support to general practice across the Humberside area and taking the lead on the Working at Scale agenda.  Areas of expertise include working with practices to set up and develop their Primary Care Networks, providing a range of support to develop and improve governance arrangements such as policies, procedures and protocols for GP Practices, Federations and Primary Care Networks and setting up CQC registrations for healthcare organisations and ensuring that the practices are CQC compliant.

Kiran holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA), is a part-qualified Accountant and has an LLB Honours (Law) degree which highlights her breadth of knowledge across all areas of business.
