Can I apply to a care home as a registered manager if I have previously had my application to be a registered manager refused by the CQC?

Yes you can, but you will need to have evidence and show that you have addressed the reasons why you were refused registration in the past. However, if you had your application refused due to the fact that you are not legally allowed to work in social care due to previous offences, then the CQC will reject your application straight away and you will not be successful.
