Are you looking for government funded training for both your volunteers and your new or existing staff?

Access Skills is the official training partner for the National Care Association and is offering government funded training for both volunteers and your new or existing staff to help you manage a skilled and competent workforce throughout this challenging time. 

They deliver the training as a mix of tutor-led webinars, tutorials and tutor support and eLearning.

Training for existing staff
This includes a mix of modules; assisting and moving people; basic life support; fire safety; food safety; health & safety awareness; infection prevention & control; safeguarding (specifically around isolation) and medication.

A rapid induction for new staff
This includes Care Certificate (with an easier to use Care Certificate self-assessment); assisting and moving people; basic life support; fire safety; food safety; health & safety awareness; infection prevention & control; safeguarding (specifically around isolation) and medication.

Training for staff who are being redeployed
This includes assisting and moving people; basic life support; fire safety; food safety; health & safety awareness; infection prevention & control; safeguarding (specifically around isolation) and medication.

Training for volunteers
This includes an introduction to adult social care; role and responsibilities; whistleblowing; equality, diversity and person-centred values; telephone support and communication; pain and discomfort; infection prevention and control; food safety; fluids and hydration; health and safety and stress.
