COVID-19: Safe travel guidance for passengers – Updated 14 October

This guidance has been updated to reflect the new local COVID alert levels and restrictions on travel that may apply. For more information click here

CQC – State of Care Report – Published 16 October

The CQC have published their annual State of Care Report, which looks at trends and shares examples of good and outstanding care, as well as highlighting where care needs to improve. For more information click here. 

COVID-19: Local contacts for care providers (PPE) – Published 23 October

The government has updated the guidance for providers who are not on the PPE portal so they know where to source PPE locally.  For more information click here.

Policy Updates  

  • The Driving for Work Policy and Procedure has been updated to include reference to the new local COVID alert levels and considerations that may be required when travelling.
  • The Infection Control Policy and Procedure has been updated to include reference to the updated information on virus transmission and mitigation.
