New online tool to help working families make the most of shared parental leave – Press Release 17th June

A new tool has been made available to help expectant parents to access and understand Shared Parental Leave and Pay. For more information click here or you can refer to the Shared Parental Leave Policy and Procedure on the system.

COVID-19: Check if you can claim for your employee’s wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme – Updated 17th June

Guidance has been updated with information about changes from 1st July. Any claims for furlough days in June must be made by 14th July 2021. For more information click here.   

COVID-19: British Sign Language resources – Updated 17th June

A revised version of the BSL video for women of childbearing age, pregnant or breastfeeding has been produced. For more information click here.  

COVID-19: Arrangements for visiting out of care homes – Updated 17th June

Guidance has been updated to reflect the new changes coming into force from 21st June, these include only requiring to isolate where it presents a high risk, such as following a hospital admission. Those being admitted from the community will not be required to self-isolate, after they have met certain requirements. For more information click here.   

COVID-19: Visiting arrangements in care homes – Updated 17th June

Guidance has been updated to reflect the new changes coming into force from 21st June, these include only requiring to isolate where it presents a high risk, such as following a hospital admission. Those being admitted from the community will not be required to self-isolate, after they have met certain requirements. Every resident can also nominate an essential care giver. COVID-19: Supported Living services during coronavirus – Updated 18th June

COVID-19: Admission and care of people in care homes – Updated 18th June

Guidance updated around visiting out of care homes for medical appointments, the role of the essential care giver and removal of the requirement for new residents from the community to isolate upon admission, where they meet specific requirements. For more information click here.
