We would love to listen to your stories about caring for others during this challenging time!
This year, carers are under more pressure than ever. It is no doubt that members of the National Care Forum (NCF) have shown significant dedication and played an important part to keep the community safe.
To help record and highlight the selflessness of the care workers, NCF is launching a ‘NCF Caring in COVID’ project, where NCF are bringing together these Caring Heroes stories in the form of an ebook.
This is a great opportunity for ALL NCF members, from all care settings, to tell their stories about caring in COVID-19.
As well as an important part of social history, the book will also be a unique and important resource for all NCF members to help with your promotions and enquiries.
More about the Project
The ‘Caring in Covid’ ebook will consist of five categories:
- Stories from the frontline
- Community and Volunteer voices
- Keeping it fun
- Keeping the connection
- The many faces of leadership
Each category section be a book in its own right, and can be shared, and each story can be shared individually.
There will be 5 highly commended stories, one selected from each category.
Deadline for submissions is Wednesday 30 September 2020.
