New Care Inspection Framework

May 14, 2018

As you know, the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) is now requiring that you re-register with them, submitting your application by the end of June for Care homes, and the end of August for Community-based services. Once you have re-registered, they will change the way you are inspected, using the new regulations, asking different questions and looking for more evidence of good practice.

Many QCS customers have been contacting us about this new inspection framework. At QCS, all policies, procedures and compliance tools are already aligned with the new Inspection framework, are GDPR compliant, and are personalised to your own Care setting, helping you to manage your business effectively, and preparing you for your next inspection. QCS also offers a suite of GDPR policies and guidance specifically for the Care sector. The QCS digital platform and the new QCS App ensure all content is right up-to-date, 24/7.

What’s more, we are shortly launching a brand new suite of self-audit tools based on the new inspection framework. These include surveys, mock inspection tool kits and a very simple way of showing the CIW the evidence that the new standards have been met.

So you can rest assured that you instantly comply with the new Statutory Guidance with our ‘always on’ digital tools.
