I have been told that my ex employer has reported me to safeguarding authority for using wrong method of lifting a client when there was no lifting equipment was available to use in the house. I should have reported this to the authorities but let it go as company is in financial problems, but i am now having problem obtaining a reference. how can i clear my records?

Reported to safeguarding authority for wrong lifting methodDear Ifty,

If a complaint had been made about you to the Safeguarding Board I think that you would have heard from the Board.

You may wish to consider what you wish to do about the lack of required equipment available to use.

The person that interviews you for a job should apply for your reference, not you.

Best wishes.
