Could you tell me how often should a DNAR be reviewed by a GP? I've trawled the internet and asked around locally but opinions seem to vary.
Kind regards, Joy
An interesting question.
I think this is a matter to be discussed between you and the GP.
I am assuming that DNAR will have been discussed with the service user and their family.
Most people who have decided with their family and GP and care staff will probably not want to discuss this again as it will be a firmly held belief on their part.
If any DNAR has not been discussed with the service user or their family then I would suggest that it should be discussed as soon as possible probably with the family first.
If you put DNAR into a search engine you will find lots of helpful advice.
