What are the KLOEs that CQC will ask about?

Hi, I am a new care manager and I am still waiting for my checks to go through. I'm worried about my interview, what are the KLOEs that the CQC will ask about? - Sharon

Dear Sharon,

As you know CQC has five key questions:

Is it Safe?
Is it Effective?
Is it Caring?
Is it Responsive?
Is it Well-Led?

The Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE) give the prompts and sources of evidence that you will need to answer these five questions.

You can find the KLOEs for care home here

and for home care here

Best wishes.

Sheila
