As a private, independent nurse providing care, do I need to register with the CQC?

Thank you for your question.  I would need more information to ascertain your service configuration.  You talk about providing ‘care’ – I would need to know what regulated activity you would be providing and where. Are you working as a domiciliary care provider? A Personal Assistant?  Are you only delivering personal care in people’s own homes?
