Does the registered manager of a domicile art care agency have to have a nursing qualification?
I presume that you mean a domiciliary care agency.
The answer to your question is straightforward. The answer is no. The owner has to decide what the qualifications are that are required to run a particular agency. It could be that a nursing qualification is required by you but it is not a requirement.
You will see the requirement and guidance on the CQC website which is:
- Has the necessary qualifications, competence, skills and experience to manage the regulated activity.
