I disagree with the rating score published by the CQC on our recent care home inspection report. We submitted an intention to ask for a review which should be within 5 days of publishing but our submission was a few days later than 5 days. Now the CQC is refusing to deal with the submission due to it being out of their published time frame. What is my option as I do want to challenge their rating?

The CQC’s position is quite clear and they do stick to that timescale.
My best advice is that you should consult a specialist solicitor. There are several specialist solicitors and you can email me again for advice if you do not already have a specialist solicitor.
