Is it possible for a care agency to just administer regular prescribed medication from a Nomad System and then a family member to administer medication that is only required when experiencing pain?
Thank you for your question. Yes, this would be fine as long as there are strict, clear boundaries and the family always deal with the PRN medication. You would still need to list each medication you give individually and clearly document everything within the service user’s care plan.
