I was late getting my sick note of my doctor, but the manager at the care home that I work in, started a disciplinary process to which I received a written warning and on record for 12 months.
I have worked in care for 32 years and was very upset. I got a sick note and my manager took this but still went ahead with the disciplinary. I pride myself as a good carer, with good qualifications.
