COVID-19: COVID-19 Vaccines Rolled Out to People Over 70 years and Over from Today – Press Release 18 January    

People aged 70 and over, as well as those classed as clinically extremely vulnerable, will be invited to receive their vaccinations today. For more information, click here.

COVID-19: Supported Living Services During Coronavirus – Updated 18 January   

The guidance has been updated to reflect that if you have close contact with someone who has COVID-19, you must self-isolate for 10 days. For people in supported living arrangements the 10-day period should increase to 14 days based on a risk assessment of the setting if it is considered high risk. For more information, click here.

COVID-19 Vaccinations and Community Based Social Care Workers – Published 20 January   

The minister for social are has published a letter to local authority chief executives and directors of adult social care providers outlining plans for getting the COVID-19 vaccine to social care workers based in the community. For more information, click here.

COVID-19: Designated Settings for People with COVID-19 Leaving Hospital – Published 20 January   

The CQC has published information on designated settings and is working alongside the Department of Health and Social Care to ensure quality care and support is provided in these. For more information, click here.

Policy Updates  

Please note, a new Service User Contract will be available on the system from the beginning of February. This contract features 24 new customisations and will require your system details to be updated to ensure you remain compliant on the system.
