July 15, 2021

To celebrate National Friendship Day on the 30th of July, we would love to hear your friendship stories!

Friendships and close knit relationships are more important than ever. Lockdowns have affected the young and old alike and kept us from meeting friends, family and work colleagues which is vitally important for our wellbeing as humans are social creatures.

To celebrate National Friendship Day on 30 July we would like to ask you to share your stories of friendship that we can share with others and encourage everyone to reach out to friends, refresh working relationships, enable others to keep in touch with their friends and loved ones.

To show our appreciation QCS will donate £30 for each of your stories to Age UK, the country’s leading charity providing companionship, advice and support for older people who need it most.

If you, your team or your service users would like to share their stories of friendship that helped them feel loved, connected and helped them work better together or simply made lockdown a bit easier for them, click on the button below and send us their words. You can also attach a picture if you/them are happy for these to be shared.

Please submit your entry by the 25 July and we will post a video with your stories on our social media pages on National Friendship Day on the 30th of July.
