Barry embarked on his social care journey in 2005 as a care assistant at a Brain Injury and Rehabilitation center. Since then, he has held key roles such as Registered Manager and Nominated Individual, navigating a diverse landscape that includes Learning Disabilities, Autism, Older People’s Services, Dementia, Brain Injuries, and Mental Health Services. His extensive experience also spans forensics, the prison service, and young offenders’ care.
Barry has worked with a range of providers, from single operators to some of the UK’s largest organisations. He has honed his expertise in reorganisation, systems, and processes, with a passion for structure and order. His recent projects have focused on turnaround management, business restructures, and launching new ventures from the ground up.
Barry remains dedicated to his mission at QCS: to deliver high-quality, person-centered care, particularly for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. His leadership ensures that compassionate support is always a priority.
