Senga has been a registered mental nurse and registered general nurse for 38 years, working in various areas within the NHS, community nursing, the field of addictions and the private sector.
Since 1998 she has been working with care homes, starting as a nursing sister and moving into roles of home manager, regional manager, care services manager and regulation manager.
She holds a BSc(Hons) in Health Care, Diploma in Social Science and Advanced Diploma in Food Hygiene.
In her spare time, Senga enjoys spending time on the beautiful Isle of Skye where she lives, treasures family time with her husband, two boys, daughter-in-law and grandson, walking her Springer Spaniel dog Chloe and travel. She is a follower of Partick Thistle Football team and was a season ticket holder whilst living in Glasgow. She said this demonstrated commitment, staying power and passion!
