What Are My Life My Choice Members Hoping For In 2018?

Dementia Care
January 4, 2018

At the My Life My Choice Christmas Party, we asked some of our trustees and group members what their hopes and wishes were for 2018. This is what they said.

Andy’s wish is “to stay fit and healthy, have no asthma attacks, and to stay out of hospital.”

Jeremy hopes to move into a flat with his fiancée, Suzannah.

Charlene is looking forward to “coming to the My Life My Choice trustee meetings.”

Dean said his wish is to “get back on the buses again.” When asked why he said “Because I love travelling on buses and I love being a Travel Buddy for My Life My Choice.”

Dawn says she is “looking forward to doing more work” and hopes to stay healthy in 2018.

Nigel’s wish is to “do more work with the NHS on health checks.” Nigel is the star of our Get Healthy, Live Longer! film that we made with the NHS in 2017.

Paul hopes to be elected on to the My Life My Choice Jobs and Money Team – a sub-group of trustees that meets weekly with the Charity Coordinator. He also said he would like to do more work to help homeless people, and make better links with the Thames Valley Police.
